Centre Mokosha is a non-profit organisation dedicated to provide individual, couple or family counselling and therapy for all in need.
Centre Mokosha is a non-profit organisation based in the Eastern part of Slovakia, established in 2014 by two psychologists dedicated to provide individual, couple or family counselling and therapy for all in need, regardless of age, gender, religion, or ethnic background. Some of our clients come from a refugee background with severe emotional problems due to trauma. Centre Mokosha is treating both English and Slovak speaking clients, and works closely with interpreters Slovak – Dari – Russian, when needed. Centre Mokosha specializes in mood and anxiety disorders, cultural adaptation.
Competence and Expertise Offered
Centre Mokosha NGO works in close cooperation with other organisations (Human Rights League, Marginal) working with individuals and families coming to Slovakia from Third Country Nationals ex. Afghanistan, Líbya, Cuba, Ukraine under Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) . In cooperation with organisations we provide psychological, social and legal counselling. All three organisations are based at the same address in Košice.
Expertise sought
We are looking for similar organisations working with clients from refugee background providing psychological, social and legal support. Ideally working under AMIF. We are keen to gain more information, expertise, experience from another country.
