The EEA and Norway Grants represents the contribution from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway to reduce economic and social disparities and strengthen cooperation with 14 EU countries.
Part of the funding is set aside to strengthen civil society and active citizenship. An Active Citizen Fund is created in each beneficiary state for this purpose.
