RSI is a not for profit Organization with the aim of preventing and reducing traffic incidents through education, research and awareness campaigns.
The strategic pillars of R.S.I. are: A)General Policy on Road Safety: Coordination of work among stakeholders, systematic registration, analysis of data and evaluation of road safety measures B) Driver Behaviour: Education & Information to improve driver compliance with laws, better protection of vulnerable users, campaigning nationwide and C) Infrastructure: Implementation of international best practices and treatment of high risk sites
Competence and Expertise Offered
RSI implements research, awareness campaigns and educational programs for all age groups, certified by ISO 29990 (e.g. 190,000 students trained), with the use of cutting-edge technology simulators, based on AVENUE program (best practice internationally). RSI is partner at European projects (TraSaCu, KROS Erasmus +, etc), Member of the European Transport Safety Council (ETSC) and the Federation Internationale De L’ Automobile (FIA) and has Consultative Status with the UN (ECOSOC).
Expertise sought
We look for international collaborations and exchange of knowledge, good practices and expertise in the fields of road safety education, research and awareness campaigns, focusing on all age groups and all types of road users. Also, for up to date technological advances on road safety and how to deal with challenges for mobility in the future. Moreover, we seek collaborations with Organisations working mainly with vulnerable populations (e,g, refugees) and public health prevention/promotion.
