Description

We are a volunteer run Portuguese NGO dedicated to defend fundamental rights in a digital context, a.k.a. digital rights. We were founded in 2017.

We do advocacy, campaigning, and policy work around different subjects related to fundamental rights in the context of the Internet and technology in general. We have been specially active with matters regarding privacy, data retention, net neutrality, electronic vote, freedom of expression, public domain and fair use.

Competence and Expertise Offered

We are activists with different backgrounds, who can provide local, technical and legal expertise. Our biggest limitation is the limited time we have available to offer.

Expertise sought

We would be interested in any projects that connect fundamental rights and technology, which opens a wide range of possibilities.
On an internal level, we are mostly interested in organizational capacity building and learning how to grow our NGO in a sustainable way.
