Katheti is a cultural and educational centre for the sustainable development of Poros and Troizinia-Methana region.
Katheti is a creative space where people come to meet, learn, share ideas, and develop new skills, and celebrate the arts. We support local artisans and entrepreneurs, students preparing for their futures, and all those who seek to expand their horizons, learn new skills, share knowledge, and celebrate the richness of our culture. We are interested in developing projects that: will make education and skill-building fun and exciting; offer young people opportunities to travel and acquire experiences whilst evolving and developing skills; allow us to exchange good practices on the above areas.
Competence and Expertise Offered
Katheti specializes in skill-building seminars and workshops for students, educators and the general public. We have developed educational material for the personal and professional development of adolescents (Gyroscope) and a handbook on non-formal education that has been approved by the Greek Institute of Educational Policy of the Ministry of Education. Katheti has also successfully organized cultural activities, such as theater, music and painting workshops.
Expertise sought
We are seeking for partners interested in the same fields, with complimentary expertise. Experience in youth exchanges, youth projects, development of digital applications, work-skills building, graphic design will be most welcome. Mostly, we are seeking for partners with a similar vision to ours, in order to co-create through exchange of knowledge, experience and good practices, especially in the area of sustainable rural development.
