Our name „Zachraň jídlo“ could be translated as „Save Food“. We are focusing our efforts on reducing food waste in Czech republic.
Advocacy project which goal is to make possible the donation of cooked food in Czech republic. We are looking for good practice in redistribution of cooked meals from the HORECA segment to people in need.
Competence and Expertise Offered
We can provide expertise in awareness raising campaigns, organization of happenings and community building. We are considered experts in the field of food waste and we participate in research projects. Thanks to our activities, the 15% VAT, which the merchants had to pay for the donation of food, was cancelled, the supermarkets started to sell wonky vegetables and new law for food donation was adopted.
Expertise sought
We are looking for good practice in redistribution of cooked meals from the HORECA segment to people in need. In general we are also open to any cooperation with organizations whose topic is food waste.
