Our mission is to empower and activate people 65+ life-long learning, digital education, intergenerational activities and volunteerism.
People Behind has implemented activities for about 400 people 65+ in Greece, since 2017, following the EU directions for Active and Healthy Aging. All programs promote life-long learning, digital education and intergenerational solidarity. In early 2020 the first University for Third Age was founded in Athens, by People Behind, offering a variety of workshops for the beneficiaries. The first participants were 120, selected after 400 applications received. After Covid-19 the whole operation became digital and the program continues through the e-learning platform of People Behind.
