LoPe is an association that aims to raise awareness of core values such as charity and human dignity and contribute to peace building activities and understanding of democracy. The association puts emphasis on inclusion and tolerance, as well as on the prevention of attitudes and behaviour that endanger community life. Our scope of work is focused on implementing a microintegration approach, training, and coaching provision. Our main target groups are unemployed persons, usually from refugees and migrant’s background.
Competence and Expertise Offered
LoPe offers training programmes for unemployed persons to and on behalf of the Norwegian Employment Service (NAV), covering various thematic fields: basic skills, personal orientation, understanding society and the world of labour, potential employment opportunities.
On another level, “microintegration” is a project driven by LoPe, which is an important offer for refugees and immigrants who struggle to find their place in Norwegian society.
