Description
Institute for safe play is a non-profit Institute in Slovenia, who wants to use preventive measures to improve the safety of leisure equipment.
We want to ensure that adults, children and adolescents have available safe equipment. As a preventive measure in our Institute we consider the different learning and motivational activities to encourage learning abilities of our target groups. We want to create and maintained preventive awareness of owners of play areas, as well as manufacturers and suppliers of equipment and also toys. Our goals:
• to organize and promote safe play through preventive measures,
• look for new opportunities to increase safety in during the use of play equipment and toys by,
• to raise awareness on safety.
Competence and Expertise Offered
Our expertise are on technical filed according to EU standards for leisure equipment, play equipment and toys and understanding cognitive need for play and what added value is for humans (no matter what age the person is) in connection to safety and proper need for safety in this field.
Expertise sought
We are seeking to collaborate with partners such are kindergartens, schools, medical institutions, governmental institutions, NGOs who also work with our target groups, because play is primary need of people, no matter what age they are.
