APAR is an NGO association of over 120 food producers. APAR promote Romanian food products on the national and International market.
The association addresses mainly agro-food producers and processors, offering them by size, specific and individual goals, promoting solutions to the markets.
Our organization has over 120 members working in food industry and whose turnover represents 1.8 billion euros, representing over 15% of Romanian food sector.
2019-2020 goal: to register at EU level at least 15 products (PGI, PDO, TSG), to bring notoriety to RO and help producers to ease applying for EU projects. Our activity is oriented this year to identify concrete solutions in order to stop dual quality for foodstuff.
Competence and Expertise Offered
We develop new partnerships and strengthen the existing ones within and outside the association.
So far we were involved in several EU projects:
– H2020 DIGITERRA: Complementary Perspectives on Rural Digitisation
– National Rural Development Programme Romania: PNDR – Olt county 6.1 & 6.3 and PNDR – Dolj county 6.1 & 6.3
– Operational program administrative capacity – POCA:

APAR mission is to make Romanian food products an engine of economic growth of Romania and a source of national pride.
The goal for 2019-2020 is to register at EU level at least 15 products (PGI, PDO, TSG), to bring notoriety to Romania and to help Romanian producers to ease applying for European projects on promoting the new European regulation. Our activity is oriented this year to identify concrete solutions in order to stop dual quality for foodstuff.
