Bulgarian Water Association (BWA) is a non-profit organization that was established on December 1, 2005 in the city. Sofia.
Its members are legal and natural persons / experts / who have interests related to water and sanitation, including the quality and treatment of drinking, industrial, agricultural and waste water; management, conservation and utilization of water resources.
Annually we organize multiple forums – conferences, seminars, round tables related to topics in the water sector.
We maintains an accredited training center.
We execute quality control activities.
Competence and Expertise Offered
We have a strong expertise on issues related to the water sector and ecology.
We are beneficiaries of two projects funded by European funds. We have experience in managing such projects.
We have a well-developed network of members and partners both inside and outside the country.
We are strong in communicating with the institutions and the media.
Expertise sought
We are looking for partners similar to ours and / or those with experience in working with minorities and / or young people.
We are also interested in introducing new technologies in the sector.
