It is an umbrella coalition that represents over 18 patients organisation that cover a wide range of chronic and rare diseases.

The main field of work is defending patients rights, advocacy for access to better treatment, communication campaign of information for patients and communities and supporting capacity building for new patients associations.
The organisation is also involved in designing and implementing health policies in partnership with health stakeholders.
