eduRoma is a Roma educational non-governmental organization whose vision is an inclusive society.
The environment of educational institutions is considered the main source of inclusive society creation. Our daily mission is to instigate changes in the school system and educational practice so that schools and school system provide quality education to everyone and that nobody is discriminated in access to quality education.
The main goal of eduRoma is to promote the access of Roma children to quality education and to promote their school success.
eduRoma implements its main goal through three mutually cooperating programs: Advocacy, Field, and Media program.
Competence and Expertise Offered
We offered expertise in organizing professional conferences and seminars, joint coalitions, round tables, debates and public campaigns, researches, publications.Through the field program we train teachers and work directly with pupils and parents. Within the field program, we create and validate functional and effective educational models, create examples of good practices. Through publicity and information campaigns, we sensitize public opinion and change the stereotypical picture of the Romas.
Expertise sought
We seek for exchange expertise in desegregation processes in schools, good practices in the field of Education and especially in the field of education of Roma Children.
