Believing that good health and housing are closely related, Equita advocates and acts for equal access to health care for homeless people.

Equita develops advocacy-aimed partnerships, street-medicine projects with public health focus, raises awareness about homelessness as a determinant of health within the medical community and prepares research projects studying health exclusion in the Slovak society.
Our current projects:
1. Vaccination campaigns in the communities of homeless people and people using injectable drugs (hepatitis, influenza)
2. Awareness raising at the medical school of Comenius University – series of student conferences
