IRC Hellas is an independent NGO, with a mission to support, protect & empower people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict & disaster

Since the start of programming in Greece, the IRC has provided support and protection services to people living in camps and urban settings. IRC Hellas currently operates in Athens and on the island of Lesvos, under the following programmatic pillars:
• Child Protection
• Mental Health and Psychosocial Support
• Information and Empowerment
• Economic Recovery and Development
• Non-Formal Education and Cultural Orientation
• Advocacy

IRC Hellas has the necessary technical and management expertise to implement projects and participate in transnational ones; the robustness to run and scale up operations; a wide network of partners, with whom we collaborate and exchange best practices and lessons learnt.
