KMOP – Social Action and Innovation Centre is one of the oldest Greek NGOs, with more than 43 years of experience in supporting disadvantaged groups.
KMOP’s vision is a world that rests on integrity, equal opportunities, sustainable growth and individual well-being. Thus, the organisation supports vulnerable people through the provision of social services, implementation of social initiatives, education, research and development of know-how on social policy issues. Apart from the provision of social services through decentralized community based facilities, KMOP has implemented more than 280 international projects and more than 200 national projects, supporting 20,000 beneficiaries the last 15 years.
Competence and Expertise Offered
KMOP designs and implements innovative social initiatives in a wide range of areas, demonstrating extensive knowledge in the field of education, research and policy, and social services. KMOP has developed the online platform COEUS, providing free educational courses, and the platform livewithoutbullying.com, offering free counselling to victims of bullying. Moreover, Its well-versed research team conducts in depth research in social sciences, producing a wide range of policy papers and books.
