LRF is national level umbrella organization with an aim to promote sustainable development in rural areas by strengthening civil society.
LRF is one of Active citizens fond operators in Latvia in the period 2014-2020. We coordinate bilateral and regional cooperation, so our main goal is to establish and develop partnerships and cooperation to improve knowledge and mutual understanding.
Competence and Expertise Offered
• To find suitable partner for cooperation in Latvia from different fields from our database and partners;
• To assist with establishment and development of partnership or provide support to find the contact for needed support in Latvia.
Expertise sought
Increase cooperation, establish new and develop existing initiatives in a field of interest advocacy and capacity building at the regional, national and international levels
civic space, freedom of the word, transparency in election processes as well as long-term concerns such as inter-cultural communication, youth involvement in remote areas, civic education, empowerment and inclusion of vulnerable groups, volunteering, advocacy, awareness raising, outreach to citizens.
