Description
The organization connects people of various ages living in the southern part of Panevezys. We organize cultural, sports and educational events.
The main field of work is to gather and encourage residents, bound by the common needs and interests of living in the neighborhood, to actively participate in the activities of the community and civil society of the residential area. Possible project ideas are based around senior citizens, as they are the biggest part of our organization, projects, for example, which enable seniors to meet social needs, integrate them into social life and more actively represent their opinions and beliefs in processes that are important to them.
Competence and Expertise Offered
The community works with older people, sees their daily problems, knows their needs, has the right conditions to implement project activities and attract participants. The organization was established in 2016 and since then, most of the organized projects have been oriented towards an older audience.
Expertise sought
Each country has different ways of involving seniors in various activities, reducing their exclusion in society. During the cooperation, we hope to get acquainted with the experience of other countries, we aim to exchange ideas related to seniors, to apply the good experience in Lithuania. Perhaps the experience gained will encourage the community to start a social business.
