SOS CV BG is a non-profit organization that provides loving homes and support to children deprived of parental care or children at risk of losing it.
The main fields of our work are child and youth alternative care, family strengthening, prevention of family separation, mobile social work, children`s rights, advocacy for children`s rights, support for youths that are leaving care and capacity building of professionals, working with children in care.
Competence and Expertise Offered
All experts and professionals, working in SOS CV are highly competent in working with children at risk and families that are experiencing crisis situations and need support or counseling. The experts competences cover all ranges of child care – from direct social or psychological work to advocacy counseling.
Expertise sought
Depending on the particular project we often search for research and analysis experts. Also, due to changed target group in our youth facilities, there is an identified need of expertise in the field of trauma experience and challenging behavior by young people.
