Description

TUSIW also works with international organizations of informal workers and also with trade unions and tries to put workers in the informal sector.

Creating new employment forums: Existing negotiation is designed to meet the workers with formal employment. They do not tend to solve the problems faced by vulnerable polling workers in the informal economy. We need to create new suitable forums for negotiation. This requires development of rules for participation, establishing criteria for determining issues of negotiation and predicting how these new forums will be included in the policy and regulatory frameworks, so that they become a meaningful part of the participation decision.

Competence and Expertise Offered

Millions of home-based workers world-wide demand support from their governments and the employers, contractors and brands that they work for, to ensure that their health, safety and economic survival be urgently addressed.
All over the world, in developing and industrialized countries, women and men work from home or in collective spaces near their home.
We have been working in the informal economy for more than 20 years. We have created a network of 13 organizations from Eastern Europe.

Expertise sought

We are looking for a partner to create a financial instrument to support all informal workers in the European Union with the introduction of a solidarity fund between formal and informal workers, an urgent measure to quickly and bureaucratically relieve all citizens in Europe whose economic security and existence are threatened by informal work.
