Vardakeios is an institute that organises seminars and activities for adults focused on multicultural awareness based on participatory learning
The Vardakeios School of Ermoupoli is based on Syros island and is an institute that organizes programs that focus on foreign language learning and self- enrichment activities. The school offers courses of Greek, English, Italian and French language and also workshops related to creative writing, art history and painting, puppet making and play workshops and many others that start during the year for local people and immigrants.
Competence and Expertise Offered
Since 2009 Vardakeios participates in Grundtvig and Erasmus+ projects for Adult Education as a partner and a coordinator and has developed a strong national and European network of organizations that work in the same field. Through these projects and partnerships useful educational resources have been developed about digital storytelling, language learning through 3D environment or for organizing workshops based on healthy eating and multiethnic food
