SAFY’s mission is to raise the quality of life of children, youth and families, and to protect their rights.

SAFY operates in 4 areas: protection of children’s rights and advocacy, social humanitarian programs, programs for leisure time and holiday camps, and educational programs.
We respond to current social issues and are involved in the preparation of key documents in the wider field of children’s politics. We aim to promote and implement the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and to reduce social exclusion of children, youth and families. We coordinate ZIPOM: Center for advocacy and information about the rights of children and youth and operate TOM-helpline for children and youth people.
