Our organisation is working with children, teenagers and seniors. For 100 years we active on Pomeranian province as scouting assosaction.
ZHP provides various programs for young people based on the Sustainable Development Goals, encouraging them, among others, to intergenerational cooperation f.ex.:
– outdoor adventure to promote physical fitness, environmental awareness, and climate actions.
– volunteer work, fostering a sense of social responsibility and democratic
-instill values such as honesty, loyalty, and respect for others
– promote a deeper understanding of Poland and Europe’s culture, history, and heritage.
Competence and Expertise Offered
The ZHP Chorągiew Gdańska offers specialized experience and programs in the field of intergenerational activities that aim to promote cooperation and mutual understanding. Our work is based on volunteering and extracurricular activities. The scouts troops’ work is supported by several specialist teams from various fields, e.g.: the maritime education team, ecological team, health prevention team, coaching team, and the Senior Club. We have experience in projects of intergenerational cooperation
Expertise sought
We expect the partner to have experience in the involvement of seniors and their competencies to shape attitudes and acquire knowledge among children and young people in the conditions of education based on social work. The partner should be helpful in organizing meetings and events that will encourage cooperation and exchange of experiences between younger and older members of the community.
