The matchmaking event seeks to offer an opportunity for Lithuanian and Donor countries’ (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway) CSOs to come together, share experience, discuss initial ideas for collaboration and eventually shape them into concrete joint project proposals to be submitted under the ACF regular open calls (the next open call for small (up to €15,000) and medium-scale (up to €80,000) projects is going to be published in May 2021). The participants may also use this opportunity to discuss possibilities to organize a small-scale bilateral cooperation initiative (an ongoing open call), such as partner search visits, matchmaking events, individual short-term internships and know-how exchanges, thematic meetings or seminars.

The event will take place online, during two days, May 26 and 27. The first day is dedicated to discussions on the identified thematic areas listed below and the second day is dedicated to pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings (based on your identified preferences).

The main target group for this event are NGOs in Lithuania and Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein interested in carrying out joint projects within any of the following thematic areas (numbers in parenthesis indicate which Lithuanian organization from the list above is relevant):

  • Community building (1,2,3,4)
  • Environment and sustainable development (5,6,7)
  • Gender equality and fight against domestic and gender based violence (8,9,10)
  • Non-formal education (11,12,13)
  • Work with vulnerable groups (14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26)
  • Civic participation (27,28)
