The first, “Survey Study on the NGO Sector in Portugal“, produced by the Catholic University of Portugal under the coordination of Professor Raquel Franco Campos, aimed at deepening the knowledge on the reality of NGOs in the country, both in terms of its weight in Portuguese socio-economic reality, its areas of activity, forms of organization and management and financial skills, as well as the main strengths and weaknesses that characterize them.

The second study, “Social Innovation in Cidadania Ativa Programme Projects“, was produced by the Social Entrepreneurship Institute and coordinated by Dr. Nuno Frazão. It presents an analysis of the projects supported by the Programme in terms of their sustainability and value in terms of social innovation, making known to the public some good examples in these areas.
