Refugee Support Conference in Warsaw: Invitation for Norwegian NGOs

Civil society stands at the forefront of the response to ongoing refugee crises, whether in the Mediterranean or originating from Ukraine. Civil society organizations working in this field now have an excellent opportunity to meet and share their experiences.

• Organized by: Education for Democracy Foundation (Poland). 

• Partners: Solidarna (Croatia), OLF Lithuania, Solidarity Now (Greece), Stefan Batory Foundation (Poland-National), Fundatia pentru Dezvoltarea Societatii Civile (FDSC) (Romania). 

Event Highlights:

1. Webinar on October 30th (1.5 hours): Addressing key challenges in refugee support and sharing insights from local organizations. 

2. Main Conference on November 13-14th in Warsaw: 

• Workshops and group discussions on best practices. 

• Expert panel discussions. 
• Visits to Warsaw CSOs active in refugee support. 
• Training sessions on advocacy, data analysis, and data collection. 
• Opportunities to network and collaborate on donor recommendations. 

Costs: 

Education for Democracy Foundation in Poland will cover major costs, including venue and food. Some partner organizations may sponsor guest speaker expenses.
