Zsuzsanna Wirth

Zsuzsanna Wirth has been a journalist since 2004. She spent a decade in Hungarian online news media, and since 2016, she has worked as an investigative journalist and editor at Direkt36.

She has won multiple awards for quality journalism, the latest in 2023, for her series of articles exposing the hidden situation of hospital-acquired infections. Wirth teaches journalism at Eötvös Loránt University’s media department in Hungary.
