Øivind Skjervheim has a background as the head of quantitative analysis and data collection at the social science analysis company ideas2evidence, where he was particularly responsible for working methodology, collective learning, and further development in this field. Since 2013, he has led the Norwegian Citizen Panel.
Since 2020, Skjervheim has worked as project manager for KODEM, which aims to establish a new digital infrastructure for coordinated data collection among groups that constitute the political community in Norway.
Øivind Skjervheim holds a master’s degree in comparative politics and individual subjects in information science from the University of Bergen. He currently works as a data journalist at Samarbeidsdesken, a collaboration between NRK, SUJO and LLA, aiming at enhancing data and investigative journalism in local newspapers.
