Oxana Iutes

Oxana Iutes, an award-winning journalist, currently serves as the Country Director/Chief of Party for the USAID- and UK-funded Media Enabling Democracy, Inclusion and Accountability in Moldova (MEDIA-M) program at Internews in Moldova.

With over 20 years of experience in project management, journalism, media education, and communication consulting, she possesses deep first-hand knowledge of the independent media sector and media legal enabling environment in Moldova.

Renowned as a trusted communicator, Iutes maintains connections with major stakeholders in the media, civil society, and government sectors. Her creative thinking and passion for sharing information positively impact the lives of Moldovan citizens. Holding a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Communication from the State University of Moldova, she is a native Romanian speaker, fluent in Russian and English, and proficient in French.
