Jørgen Watne Frydnes

Jørgen W. Frydnes is the director of PEN Norway: an independent and non-profit membership organisation, dedicated to defending freedom of expression and supporting writers at risk and writers in prison.

Frydnes is also chair of the Norwegian Nobel Committee. From 2011-2023 he was CEO of Utøya.
