Krzysztof Wiejak

For most of his professional career, Krzysztof Wiejak has been associated with Dziennik Wschodni, a well-known newspaper in Lublin,  Poland, where he worked as editor-in-chief. Since 2023 he has worked as a journalist at a leading online news portal called jawnylublin.pl in Lublin.

Wiejak believes that journalism, especially local journalism, is an extremely important element of citizen control and, amongst other things, ensures that those in power over us never become too comfortable in their positions.
